Kentucky Arts Rising (KAR) provides operating support for small Kentucky arts organizations with annual revenue under $100,000. The deadline to apply is February 15, 2026, with the grant period running from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

A new resource is coming soon for Kentucky nonprofits! The Kentucky State Grant Database launches on January 16 and can make it easier to find and apply for state grants across Kentucky. It’s designed to save time and improve access for these opportunities for organizations and communities statewide.

The Steele-Reese Foundation’s Kentucky program serves Appalachian counties with a strong emphasis on early childhood through grade 12 education programming. Applications are currently open, and the application form is due March 2, 2026.
